5 Iranian films to be screened in the Bosnian capital

Five Iranian films have been scheduled to be screened during a five day event in Sarajevo.

Five Iranian film will be screened in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo during a five day event running fron February 20 to 24.

‘Where Are My Shoes?’, ‘Crazy Rook’, ‘Angels Come Together’, ‘Daughter’ as well as ‘So Close, So Far’ will be screened from February 20 to 24.

In ‘Where Are My Shoes?’ directed by Kioumars Pourahmad, Habib starts losing his memory to the point of Alzheimer after his wife and daughter lose touch with him.

The 115-minute ‘Crazy Rook’ directed by Abolhassan Davoudi, depicts a group of young people who are members of an online community, meeting at a cafe in Tehran. One girl’s urgent need for drugs brings six of them together while what starts as a prank continues to unfold into a complicated situation, revealing new aspects of each character.

Hamed Mohammadi’s ‘Angels Come Together’ tells the story of a soon-to-be clergyman and his wife who deal with the troubles of raising their triple children.

The event will also screen ‘Daughter’ and ‘So Close, So Far’, both directed by Reza Mirkarimi.

Mirkarimi and Iranian actress Merila Zarei are the special guests of the event, which is organized by Iran’s Cultural Office in Sarajevo.
